Triethylene Glycol is typically used in the oil and gas market to “dehydrate” natural gas. Triethylene Glycol has also been known to be an affective disinfectant being able to sterilize bacteria, various fungi, and several strains of the influenza virus. Other applications include cosmetics, cleaning compounds, coatings/adhesives, and inks.
