Following yesterday’s report from BASF regarding increases for THF and NMP, new reports show Lyondell THF, NMP, and other derivatives of 1,4-butandiol will see price increases effective January 1, 2017. This increase will affect the off list pricing for the following materials:
1,4-Butanediol, up by $0.02 per pound
Tetrahydrofuran (THF), up by $0.04 per pound
N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), Industrial grade, up by $0.05 per pound
N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), Electronic grade, up by $0.05 per pound
Polytetramethylene Glycol (PTMEG), All grades, up by $0.05 per pound
