This colorless liquid with the chemical formula of C4H6O3 has numerous applications such as being utilized as a solvent to obtain salts like sodlium or a as a high-permittivity component of electrolytes in lithium batteries. PC can bw found in some adhesives, paint strippers, and cosmetics while aso serving as a plasticizer in many instances.
