Lyondell Chemical Company Announces Price Increase on Propylene Glycol – Effective September 1, 2025
Effective September 1, 2025, Lyondell Chemical Company (“Lyondell”) will implement a price increase on all grades of propylene glycol across North America and South America. This Lyondell Chemical price increase on propylene glycol adds to previous adjustments announced earlier this year, reflecting continued market volatility and rising production costs. The updated pricing will be as follows, with each category seeing a $0.05/lb increase:Propylene Glycol Industrial Grade (PGI) Propylene Glycol USP/EP Grade (PG USP/EP) Di-Propylene Glycol Industrial Grade (DPGI) Di-Propylene Glycol Fragrance Grade (DPGF) Tri-Propylene Glycol (TPG) Tri-Propylene Glycol Acrylate Grade (TPGA) These increases apply to off-list prices and will take effect unless otherwise specified by contractual agreements.
