The recent weather-related conditions in the US Gulf Coast have impacted cumene production and propylene supply, which are increasing the costs of raw materials for AdvanSix Inc.’s Acetone production. AdvanSix has seen record high polymer grade propylene prices in recent days, and we are awaiting the effects on the pricing of refinery grade propylene. Based on the current raw materials costs, we will increase the price of Acetone by $0.20 per pound as per applicable contract terms, effective March 8, 2021. However, propylene pricing continues to be volatile as conditions in the US Gulf Coast evolve. We will continue to promptly communicate to our customers raw material cost impacts that will affect the pricing of our Acetone.
